What Is Your Why?

Every entrepreneur has a reason. A moment. A spark. Mine is my son Noah.
When I became a mother, everything shifted. The demands of a traditional 9-to-5 no longer aligned with the kind of life I wanted to create, not just for myself, but for my son. I didn’t want to miss the little things: school mornings, mid-day hugs, or spontaneous conversations that only happen when you’re present. I wanted freedom not just in my schedule, but in my calling.
God called me to a life of motherhood, one where I nurture, care, and, most importantly, teach Noah the Word of God. My purpose is to help him become the best man of God he can be. Everything we do is meant to glorify Christ Jesus, and that includes the birthing of His business. I am simply the vessel; Christ is the CEO. His creativity flows through my willing hands.
So, I leaped off a mountain of faith. I said goodbye to what was normal and secure, and I dove headfirst into the unknown, all for my “why”: my compassionate, wonderful son Noah.
As a woman of God, I believe in walking in purpose. I believe our gifts aren’t random; they’re divine tools meant to serve others and open doors. And those open doors have allowed me to minister, pray, and encourage the body of Christ in moments when a traditional 9-to-5 simply wouldn’t. The bonus? Freedom to be with Noah to show up, stay present, and never miss a beat.
So yes, Designing Glory LLC is how I support clients through impactful design, branding, and digital strategy, of course, in partnership with the Holy Spirit. But deeper than that? It’s how I show Noah what’s possible. That you can build something meaningful. That you can lead with heart. That freedom is possible, especially when you trust God, leap, and stand on His Word that your footsteps will be ordered, if only we submit to His will and not ours, and ask for the grace to live unapologetically for Christ.
My journey hasn’t been linear. It’s been full of learning curves, prayers, late nights, and bold decisions. But every moment has been worth it. Because I’m not just building websites. I’m building a legacy of freedom, creativity, and faith, and my son gets a front row seat to how Mommy gives God all the glory.
So I ask you: What is your why?
